Anthony Smith

Anthony serves as Lead Pastor of Mission House, a new church start in Salisbury, NC. He is a lead organizer of Rowan Concerned Citizens, a civic engagement group that convenes and facilitates voter education and mobilization initiatives. Anthony is also co-founder and co-chair of the Truth, Healing, Hope and Equity Commission in Salisbury, NC that is a truth commission patterned after the South African and Greensboro, NC truth and reconciliation commissions seeking to address systemic inequities in community systems. He is a co-founder of and on the speakers bureau of Transform Network. He has co-authored several books with authors such as Brian McLaren, Sylvia Keesmaat, Shane Claiborne, Elisa Padilla, Richard Twiss et al: The Justice Project, Emergent Manifesto Of Hope. Anthony brings to this team his organic theological and ecclesiological development with his work with Mission House, a church intentionally engaged in embodying a decolonizing Christian faith.
